Pumpkin Spice Latte Protein Shake
Happy Sunday wanderers and welcome back to another post! Today I thought I would share a quick recipe with you. Using only four ingredients, I have created a vegan pumpkin spice latte protein shake. I personally love the way it turned out, the flavor is certainly reminiscent of a pumpkin spice latte or even pumpkin bread. This blog post is a short one, but I hope you enjoy.
Pumpkin Spice Latte Protein Shake
Ripe Frozen Bananas (1.5)
Sweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (1 cup)
Shakeology Vegan Café Latte flavor (1 scoop)
Soul Fresh Proteins “Pumpkin Spice with Spirulina Superfood Powder Mix” (1 tsp)
This recipe can be easily adjusted with simple substitutes. Use whatever plant milk you like or have in the house. Using soy or oat milk will increase the protein content anywhere from 3-6 grams. Although my favorite vegan protein powder, Shakeology is quite pricy. You can easily substitute the Vega Protein cold brew coffee flavor for a similar shake. Lastly, if you can not get your hands on Soul Fresh Proteins superfood powder you can imitate the pumpkin spice flavor with cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Using the app Cronometer, I was able to include some detailed nutrition information below. The daily nutritional targets are set for me personally, but I think this should give you a good idea of everything that is packed into the shake. At under 400 calories and almost 20 grams of protein, I am pretty pleased with the nutrition details. I will definitely be making this for my post work out shakes! It also serves as an amazing breakfast on the go.
As always thank you for tuning in! I hope you enjoyed this post! Want kinds of recipe posts would you like to see in the future?
